Can I write my own vows?
You can write all, some or none of your ceremony.
I can give you already written ceremonies to choose from, poems or readings to incorporate into your wedding, or many books for you to put it together entirely on your own.

Can I involve family or friends in my ceremony?
Of course, you can have as many or as few as you like. Just let me know what they will be doing so I can incorporate them into your ceremony.

Do I have to be given away?
Although it is not a legal requirement to be given away, you can also be given away by anyone you choose, it does not have to be your father.

Can we be married anywhere in Australia?
Yes you can, including Norfolk Island, Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands

Can we be married at any time of the day or night?
Yes

Do we have to wear a wedding gown and a suit?
No, you can wear whatever you choose, it is your day!

Who do we need to choose to be our witnesses?
You need 2 witnesses who are over the age of 18. (they can be family members)

Can I marry a person of my own sex?
No, but we can design a beautiful Commitment Ceremony for you and your partner.

Do I have to take my husbands name?
No you may keep your own name, use your husbands surname, or hyphenate if you wish.

We want to elope, what do we need to do?
The same legalities apply if you are eloping, you will need all the previously mentioned paperwork as well as 2 witnesses.

We want to involve our children, can you give us any suggestions?
Your children can be flowergirls, ring bearers, do a reading or have them take part in a 'Sand Ceremony'. There are many ways they can be involved.

Where will you be during the ceremony?
There are different placements the bridal party can be during a ceremony, we can discuss what suits your needs (based on layout and size of venue, and amount of guests) at our meeting.

Do you supply a PA?
Yes, I have a lapel microphone so I can be heard during the ceremony, and also have a wireless microphone for anyone you have doing readings/poems etc.
